The Procedure: What to Expect
At SkinBe Med Spa, we use dental block to make your lip filler experience pain free. Dental block is a numbing injection that blocks the nerves in your lips, so you don’t feel any discomfort during the procedure. Here’s what you can expect during your lip filler appointment:
Consultation: One of our certified providers will discuss your treatment goals and determine the best type and amount of filler for you.
Numbing: The provider will apply numbing cream to make the injection more bearable.
Dental Block: At an additional fee the provider will inject dental block into your gums and lips. You may feel some pressure and discomfort during this step, but it should only last a few seconds.
Filler Injection:Once your lips are numb, the provider will use a small needle or cannula to inject the filler into your lips. They will mold and shape the product as they go to ensure natural, symmetrical results.
Aftercare: Your skinBe provider will give you aftercare instructions to minimize swelling and bruising. You should avoid strenuous exercise and sun exposure for at least 24 hours after your appointment.
Result
