The reason that we say this trend should be done at Med Spas, and not at home, or that you’re not getting the full experience at home, is because when performed on yourself with a store-bought razor, you are actually creating micro-abrasions in your skin that lead to harmful scarring, redness, and irritation, as well as more sensitive skin because your skin barrier is being disrupted. This does not allow your skincare to perform accurately.

The dermaplane treatment frequency is monthly and ongoing, but you need to make sure after getting one done, that you leave with your medical grade skincare regimen.
