We begin our day with a routine. We slide out of bed, step into our slippers and go straight to the bathroom to greet ourselves through the mirror. More times than not, we may notice a few things we want to change. For me, it was always my skin. I would graze my fingers over the red bumps as I brushed my teeth and let out a huge sigh before heading to my vanity to cover it all with heavy foundation. I wouldn’t end my day too differently as I double cleansed, toned and moisturized just to be greeted with the same unruly, inflamed and sore acne I tried so hard to get rid of. In my head I thought that it was the first thing people noticed and that kept me from enjoying the little moments. I constantly felt defeated. This is why I became an Esthetician. I studied ingredients and performed with modalities and decided that I was going to help everyone achieve a MAKEUP FREE lifestyle.
My transformation did not happen overnight. The key to achieving anything is consistency and I had to practice some will-power to stick with my routine and trust that results will come.
